09 Mini Cooper Base. The car spit/sputtered on my way home. Check engine light came on. Rough ible cranking up. Put on a new MAF sensor, still didn't fix it. Drove it down the road, and 3-5 miles in, started sputtered again. Threw code "2B4F, Mass Sensor Signal. Any thoughts? It has new fuel filter, plugs, coils, air filter, oil/oil filter. Checked the seal around gas cap. I got told it could be a vacuum leak around the valve cover gasket. (Little oil around it when I checked)

Would a preventative measure be to replace the fuel pump?

Hello, my friend has a 2006 bmw 525xi. Before we took anything apart his climate did not work at all. Any turn of the fan speed dial nothing would work maybe once in a blue moon he would get air sucked in through the fresh air vents. We replaced the blower motor first old one looked burned out and corroded. We swapped the resistor into the new one and plugged it in and plugged in the ccp. Fans spun and adjusted with the dial. We put it back together and then tried it and nothing. Everytime you plug the middle pin in the ccp that controls the heater and air conditioner system all the power goes dead. We replaced the air conditioner blower fuse and the old one wasn’t blown but the prongs were black. Any ideas? Still doesn’t work

I bought a 2010 Cooper for my granddaughter and she went to college didn't want it. I hate it. I can't see the oil on the dip stick. I have spent more money on repairs than what I paid for it. I love driving it. I have a MGB 1980. This Cooper I don't recommend it. 132,000 automatic.

Yes I have a Mini Cooper S 2007 Engine Oil Starvation, I keep a Gallon of Oil in the Boot and Top up the Oil Regular.

What did you use to hold up the back of the top & cover while you did the repair? And how were you able to open the trunk to disconnect the battery while doing the repair, if you did disconnect same.

Hello...I have a similar issue but not as pronounced. I took it to a shop already and they claim they have no bad mounts. They were even thinking the issue may be internal to my transaxle/motor...which is highly unlikely given my car is a 2019 model. I was wondering where you are located and if I can perhaps bring my car in for an inspection as well. Thanks.

Of all the videos to help me diagnose my rough idle on my N14 r56, this was the answer. I had many but not all the symptoms of every other video, and I was really hoping to try anything, but replacing or servicing the timing chain (as this had been done only 20k miles earlier). This same solenoid was my issue and was SUCH an easy and cheap fix. We're back running smooth. Thank you very much.

When people are mentioning replacing coolant hoses after 5-10 years would you say all hoses are applicable or which would you recommend doing for a B48? Thanks

R56 (2nd Generation) has Valvetronic from at least mid 2007 - non-S also. Watch out for cooling system issues and change the oil every 3-4k miles - DO NOT wait for the instrument cluster reminder, that is a ridiculously long service interval, and it killed a lot of these engines. Do regular oil and cooling system service, and don't ignore any of the warning lights. If you see one, get it checked immediately. Very fun little cars. Packed with quirky personality.

my 128i i've owned for 3k miles just started having white fumes. I drive it like a grandma and runs just fine. it's in reduced power mode so i'm guessing something's actually wrong. just had the engine steam cleaned since there's a small ofhg leak.... i hate life.

I have a 2011 bmw 328ixi n51 engine with 200k miles and it's the best. I take care of it and do all the work on it myself. I used to own a 2007 bmw 328i n52. Only difference I'd the n51 have a 3 system manifold with disa valves.

We purchased a slightly used 2014 Mini Countryman S ALL 4 in early 2015. The car now has 60k miles on it. WE HAVE NOT HAD EVEN ONE ISSUE WITH THIS CAR IN ALMOST 10 YEARS. I am totally surprised as Mini has a reputation for unreliability. We have put one set of tires on the car. That’s it! My wife loves her Mini and I have to admit it’s fun to drive and even comfortable to travel in. It has an automatic transmission manufactured by AISIN, a Japanese manufacturer know for quality auto parts. I change the oil religiously and after 60k it still runs like new.

You can access the first inside pocket and take it off in seconds no need to do it from outside

2011 mini s. Spits and sputters first thing in the morning. I shut it off and rebrand then it drives fine. Have had turbos, lines, coils, and spark plugs replaced? Is it this or electric fuel pump issue?
